Our Story

The idea for Griffwoods began in 2025, before officially becoming a reality in 2026.

It all started from a simple family hobby: making gifts for special occasions that had real meaning behind them. We have always believed that a gift doesn't have to be expensive to be special, and that thoughtful gifts should be affordable enough for everyone to enjoy.

What started as a small hobby, together with our passion and enjoyment for giving gifts, has grown into an online store offering an ever-expanding selection of products for customers throughout the UK.

We're always looking for new products to add to our ranges, from thoughtful gifts and everyday favourites to fun, unusual and seasonal finds. Looking to the future, we also hope to introduce our own homemade and personalised gifts.

We're a supportive family who love bringing a little enjoyment to other people's lives. When we help you find and send a gift to someone special – or even a well-deserved treat for yourself – we get to share a little of that enjoyment too.

The Person Behind Griffwoods

Hi, I'm Chris, the person behind Griffwoods.

I started Griffwoods alongside my family because I wanted everyone to have the chance to give something special.

We've all been through challenging times in recent years, whether personally or as part of the wider world around us. One thing I've noticed throughout it all is that people still enjoy receiving a gift, no matter how big or small.

But finding the right gift isn't always straightforward.

Does it have meaning? Is it appropriate for the occasion? And, of course, is it affordable?

Those questions helped shape what I wanted Griffwoods to become.

Why not try to make things a little easier? Keep gifts affordable, offer something for as many occasions and situations as possible, and make sure that whether it's a little present or something bigger, it can be given with the love and meaning it was intended to have.

One of my favourite parts of running Griffwoods is the challenge of finding new, unique, interesting and meaningful products. It isn't always easy, but it makes me think about what different people might be looking for and what could make the perfect gift for someone.

And yes, I still get a thrill when the order chime goes off!

Not simply because "it's a sale", but because it means someone has found something at Griffwoods that they want to give, receive or enjoy. Somewhere, somebody could be looking forward to that parcel arriving – or someone else might be completely surprised by it.

That's the part I enjoy.

As Griffwoods continues to grow, my goal is to keep finding great gifts for different people and occasions while keeping prices reasonable, because I believe everyone deserves a gift.

And we're thinking big for the future too. One of our ambitions is to eventually take Griffwoods beyond the online world and onto the high street, giving you the opportunity to see our products in person and make your gifts even more personal.
